[Emma sits on the stairs just outside the diner, looking out into the street. God this was weird. Everyone she'd come to know was now someone completely different. Mary Margaret was.. is her mother. And David is her father? She rubbed her head a bit.]

I swear this can't get any weirder...

[Which, she shouldn't have said. Remembering the stories in the book, she thought about how Regina really was the Evil Queen, Mr. Gold was Rumpelstiltskin..]

[She took a deep sigh, hanging her head lightly as she tried to clear her mind. There was just way too much happening all at once.]

So... You're supposed to be Red Riding Hood? Like in Henry's book?

So you and Mary Mar-- I mean Snow White.. You and Snow White seemed really happy to see each other.. Were you two friends back before this happened?

Best friends, huh? Reminds me of how she and I were becoming such close friends before this.

["Auntie"? God, Ruby-Red-whatever her name was was barely her age in this world.]

[She hid her face in her hands for a moment, her face turning in a rather vibrant shade of red.]
