It should be obvious now why Marion smells different. If Red takes her time she will get that the change is from carrying a child.
Marion's ear flicks from having someone so close otherwise she is able to stay still.

She had never smelt anything like it, before - but it kindled something, deep in her instincts. Protectiveness. Maternal instinct.
She puts her leg ver Marion's neck, and nuzzles, slumping against Marion.

Marion balks a bit under this but gives in. She doesn't want to fight. The gesture wasn't even aggressive.
She lets out a soft sound of something close to compliance.

She nips the ear, telling Marion to quiet down, and nuzzling further. She would keep guard tonight, while the wolf slept.

She is a bit hungry but... seems like she has to stay put. Ah well, she'll feed in the morning. For now Marion curls up in a ball and rests.

It is when the night starts to shift into day that Red will prove the most useful. Marion shifts back in her sleep. She is cold so of course she cuddles against the nearest warm body.

"I don't know where my clothes are," she admitted.
